Crocktober Recipe: Bacon Cheddarburger Soup

Oops! This was suppose to post last week but life got in the way....
We had a realtors' tour and a house showing last week... so time was spent keeping the house clean.
That's harder than one would think. I've found there's regular clean for a family of 5 for daily living and then there's Make It Shine- House Showing Clean.
And that's the kind of clean that just plain wears this mama out.


Bacon Cheddarburger Soup
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 container Philadelphia Savory Garlic Cooking Creme
1 pkg bacon crumbles (or cook your own bacon- about 5-6 pieces, cooked and crumbled)
1 bag frozen hash browns
1 8 oz box Velveeta Cheese
1 32 oz. box Chicken broth
1 can diced tomatoes
1 small onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced

Directions:
Add all ingredients in slow cooker and stir it up real good. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours. Stir the soup after 1.5 hours to make sure the Velveeta has melted and combined with everything else. Give it a stir a couple more times later on too for good measure!
Serve with biscuits! Or better yet, for some real fun- in a biscuit bowl!

I love how simple this recipe is! I had the ground beef already browned and in the freezer, the green pepper was also chopped and in the freezer, so this was basically (with the exception of the onion) a dump and stir recipe! Love that!
