An easy going middle of summer menu plan

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for July 8th thru 14th 



Notes: We cooked up a lot of good food for the 4th and still have some leftovers (port-a-pit chicken, hot dogs, brats) that we’re working on using up in various ways and some  that we’ll freeze to enjoy at a later date.
New recipe update from last week: There isn’t one because I didn’t post the menu but I made an awesome brats and peppers dish that my sis gave me the recipe for that was scrum-dilly-ump-tious. Seriously. Hoping to share it with y’all soon.
From the Farmers Market: 2 greenhouse tomatoes, 6 cucumbers, 1 pint sweet cherries, 2 dozen farm fresh eggs.
From the Garden: The Mister +2 picked some wild black raspberries- yum!
And 1.5 dozen pullet eggs from our lovely ladies.
Food wasted last week: 3 pieces of bread and some melon became chicken snacks and two unidentifiable from the nether regions of the fridge substances were a complete and stinky yuck fest.

Monday
Breakfast: Cold cereal topped with black raspberries
Lunch: Diner dinner
Dinner: Grilled pizzas
Tuesday
Breakfast: Yogurt and fruit smoothies, toast and jam
Lunch: chicken quesadillas
Dinner:  Brats and dogs with toppings, chips, dill pickle spears
Wednesday
Breakfast: Choice: cold cereal with milk/ vanilla yogurt with fruit & granola
Lunch:  diner dinner
Dinner: Sliders- made this way, chips, bacon ranch macaroni salad
Thursday
Breakfast: Mama’s cheesy scrambled eggs with veggies, toast
Lunch: diner dinner
Friday  
Breakfast: French Toast with homemade jam
Lunch: Diner dinner
Dinner:  Daddy Donalds (The Mister’s seriously good homemade burgers), French Fries, dill pickle spears
Saturday 
Breakfast: Daddy Cooks! – Eggs, bacon, toast
Lunch: out
Dinner: Leftover Smorgasbord
Sunday – New Recipe
Breakfast: Coco Wheats with dried cranberries, toast
Lunch:  Crockpot recipe: Continental Chicken (if it turns out well, I'll share the recipe)
Dinner: Sunday Snupper (snacks for supper) leftovers or nachos or cereal if its late…

Snacks for the Week:
The snack staples: Oreos and popcorn
Other snacks- homemade iced fruit popsicles,
Fruit for noshing this week: raspberries, strawberries, peaches
Desserts we’re hoping I make this week:
A recipe I found in a bunch of paperwork for Sour cream Chocolate Cupcakes
