Birthday Leftovers and a Go Easy on the Mama Menu

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for February 25th thru March 3rd

Notes: We’ve got a slew of leftovers in the fridge from last week’s meals and from Sassafras’s birthday party to eat up- so we’re adding another night of leftover smorgasbord besides our normally scheduled Saturday. This is a Go Easy on the Mama menu week. My girls often help me cook, but Tuesday's meal is one of Sass's favorites and she wants to cook. Everything else is easy peasy for this week. Whew.
Food wasted last week: Some leftover broccoli salad from my friend Rachel. This was yummy but in the chaos of the week the last less than a cupful got shoved to the back and became a tad bit too slimy for my taste. Three moldy pieces of bread and two bagels went into the compost. These got shoved to the back of the bread box and forgotten. Usually we take the end and/or squished pieces of bread and turn them into bread crumbs but these got lost for too long.
