In Case I forget

Just in case I should ever forget...

God's love is meteoric,
His loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
His verdicts oceanic.
Yet in his largeness
Nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
Slips through the cracks.
Psalms 36:5-6 The MSG

I am ever so blessed.
May God find me thankful every day of this life....

Big country breakfasts... everyone helping prep and cook
A crock of bacon grease in the fridge- just like when I was growing up

The whole family taking Christmas Eve Communion together
Found scribblings on scraps of paper

Ms. Books raising $440 for Samaritan's Purse
Her giddy pleasure in plotting how to best spend that money... tagging and dog-earring the Samaritan's Purse catalog and praying over listed urgent needs
Blessed repeats on this thankful list
Cold, glittering sunsets
Mason jars as drinking glasses
Sassafras painting
The girls singing as the clean the kitchen after a meal
The howl of the wind- us safe inside
Our little family discussions- plans and dreams and goals for the coming year
