The Menu: carry overs and no wiggle room in the budget

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for July 23rd – 29th

Notes: Our little farmers market was bursting with goodness last week that I am still slicing, cooking, sauteing and serving. The one little stand I love to visit was having BOGOs on everything. I brought home a huge basket of produce and my pocketbook was only $7 lighter-- onions, zucchini (both green and yellow), squash, tomatoes- oh the beautiful riot of color!). Our family schedule hiccuped last week and so we're carrying over a couple of meals we didn't make... which is  good because its the end of the month and the grocery budget has no wiggle room. at all. None.

  1. I love that the smidge doesn't like chicken salad and prefers to eat bologna and ketchup :P
