The Menu for this Week

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for June 18th – 24th

Notes: Chicken-n-noodles is one of my comfort foods. I use my mama’s quick and easy recipe, which I’ve couldn’t help but tweak just a smidge. I share the recipe right here. In other recipe news- The Pinterest recipes from last week were SPOT ON delicious! Those burgers were d-i-vine! And since, I'm a day late posting... I can tell you the cinnamon roll waffles were spectacular. I doctored the recipe a bit and added peaches (hope to share that soon). Yummmmmm!

Monday
Breakfast:  Cinnamon roll waffles topped with fresh peaches and cream cheese icing

Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Chicken-n-noodles, ranch biscuits, bread-n-butter pickles
Tuesday –ball game
Breakfast:   English muffins with blueberry cream cheese, fresh fruit
Lunch:  Hamburger sliders, chips, dill pickle spears
Dinner:  Hamburger gravy on toast, steamed green beans
Game snacks: trail mix, cookies
Wednesday
Breakfast:  choice: cold cereal or yogurt with fruit/granola
Lunch:  diner dinner
Dinner:  Omelets a la Daddy
Thursday
Breakfast:  Yogurt topped with fruit and granola, toast
Lunch:  Nachos
Dinner:  Hearty Squash Casserole, salad
Friday
Breakfast:  Yogurt and fruit smoothies, toast
Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Mama Queens! Chicken fingers with country gravy, French fries and Texas Toast (our homemade version of Dairy Queen’s Chicken Finger Basket)
Saturday 
Breakfast:  Daddy cook (eggs, bacon, skillet potatoes)
Lunch: Leftover Smorgasbord
Dinner:  Leftover Smorgasbord
Sunday
Breakfast:  Coco Wheats with dried cranberries, toast
Lunch:  Crockpot Beef Stroganoff, homemade bread, greens salad
Dinner: leftovers or nachos or cereal if its late…
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Water, tea, coffee, Lemonade, Half & Half-- lemonade & ice tea (current family favorite), cranberry pomegranate juice (mixed with lemonade sometimes and lemon lime soda at other times)
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, fresh fruit- apricots & peaches, popcorn, yogurt, trail mix, jello
 Desserts for the week:
Ice cream sundaes, brownie cookies
