Making from scratch plus some pinspired dishes


The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for June 4th thru 10th   

Notes: We visited our first farmer’s market of the year this past week. Since we pulled in on a whim, I only had $5 in my pocket. I left with two basil plants, three pepper plants and $3.00 in my pocket. Our little village farmer’s market starts this week. The local creamery will be handing out free ice cream for National Dairy Month, so this is a must on the family calendar.
We're using two recipes I found on Pinterest this week and using up some of our freezer goodness. Mr. Steady has a mess of fish in the freezer, so we'll be having a family fish fry the end of the week. We're also making homemade pizza with pizza dough made in my bread machine.

Monday
Breakfast:  cinnamon roll waffles, fresh fruit

Lunch:  mac-n-cheese, toast points
Dinner:  Slowcooker BBQ Ham, fabulous baked potatoes, salad

Tuesday –ball game
Breakfast:   English muffins with blueberry cream cheese, fresh fruit
Lunch:  hot ham and cheese sandwiches (using hot dog buns leftover from camping), pickle spears,  multigrain crisps
Dinner:  Ms. Books Slowcooker Mac-n-cheese with bacon (recipe coming soon!), squash sauté
Game snacks: trail mix, cookies
Wednesday
Breakfast:  choice: cold cereal or yogurt with fruit/granola
Lunch:  diner dinner
Dinner:  Sirloin burger soup (from Aldi), biscuits
Thursday
Breakfast:  Yogurt topped with fruit and granola, toast
Lunch:  Nachos
Dinner:  Santa Fe Casserole, salad
Friday
Breakfast:  Yogurt smoothies, cinnamon cranberry toast
Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Homemade pizza made to order
We each  get our own lump of dough and add our favorite toppings. Mr. Conductor loves to mold his dough into a shape and decorate it accordingly (last time it was an owl)

Saturday 
Breakfast:  Daddy cook (eggs, bacon, skillet potatoes)
Lunch: Leftover Smorgasbord
Dinner:  Fish Fry
Sunday
Breakfast: Coco Wheats w/dried cherries, toast
Lunch:  Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings, steamed veggies
Dinner: lunch leftovers or nachos
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Water, tea, coffee, Lemonade, Half & Half-- lemonade & ice tea (a new family favorite), cranberry juice
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, fresh fruit- strawberries & apricots & peaches, homemade pretzels, trail mix
 Desserts for the week:
Ice cream sundaes, ice cream sandwiches (homemade)
