Yellow Farmhouse March Menu Begins




The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for March 5th thru 11th

Notes: Lots of celebrating still going on here. Another birthday and our anniversary. All dining out this week is for celebrations- money from the birthday/anniversary fund. For the month of March I'm tallying and posting my grocery spending right here. My budget is $75/week. This post also includes a page from my menu plan charts- please, feel free to download, print and use!


Monday -Mr. Conductor's Day
Breakfast: Made to Order for Mr. C: Daddy Eggs (over easy), toast, sausage patties, fresh fruit
Lunch: dining out
Dinner: Chicken Fajita pizza from our favorite local pizza shop
Tuesday
Breakfast:  Homemade Cinnamon Cranberry bread, fresh fruit
Lunch:  Corn chowder (from freezer), crackers
Dinner: Spanish Rice, greens salad [carry over from last week]
Wednesday
Breakfast:  Blueberry & Cherry homemade oatmeal, toast
Lunch: Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Paprika chicken with sour cream gravy, homemade smashed potatoes, biscuits
Thursday
Breakfast:  Homemade yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, toast
Lunch:  Chicken cheese quesadillas
Dinner: Cream chip beef and mashed potatoes (leftover from Wed.)

Friday
Breakfast:  Cold cereal, toast, fruit or yogurt smoothies
Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Daddy Donalds with Mama Fries
[Daddy's homemade burgers on special buns with Mama's cheesy fries]
Saturday -Sunday
Get-away weekend.... Our 18th Wedding Anniversary
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Water, tea, coffee, cranberry juice, lemonade
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, fresh fruit- apples & strawberries & peaches, cinnamon cranberry bread, popcorn, trail mix
Desserts this week:
cookies, choco-banana milk shakes
