Menu Plan: Breakfast and lunch

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for August 15-21st              

Notes:  We’re all at Vacation Bible School this week and our wonderful church helps out the volunteers by serving supper each nite before the fun starts… This is a great boon to my grocery bill also as I “took an advance” on a good chunk of the money that would have been spent on groceries this week to purchase those 60 pounds of blueberries…
In the Garden: tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, cucumbers
From friend’s gardens: yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes
From the farmers market: watermelon, green peppers

Lunch: hot ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, pickle spears
Dinner: VBS
Breakfast:   Yogurt Smoothies, toast and jam
Lunch:  Split pea with ham soup, toast points
Dinner:  VBS
Breakfast: Homemade yogurt with fresh fruit, toast
Lunch: chicken salad on salad
Dinner:  VBS
Breakfast: Cereal with fruit
Lunch:  Quesadillas
Dinner:  VBS
Breakfast:  Eggs in a basket
Lunch:  deluxe grilled cheese, chips, pickle spears
Dinner:  VBS
Breakfast: Daddy cook: eggs, bacon & toast
Lunch: Leftover Smorgasbord
Dinner: Santa Fe Chicken Casserole
Breakfast: Coco Wheats w/dried cherries, toast
Lunch:  Crockpot: Creamy Beef-n-mac, greens salad
Dinner:  Nachos
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Water, lemonade, ice tea, coffee
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, hummus & pretzels, cheese & crackers, popcorn, parmesan zucchini sticks
Desserts this week:
Cake, ice cream
