Fun Breakfast: French Toast Kabobs

A few weeks ago I pinned this yummy picture on Pinterest...

Well, we made up our own version of this last week for breakfast one morning when it was so incredibly hot. We enjoyed it so much we're having it again this week.
Last week's kabobs had French toast, banana, strawberry, peaches and plums. Thankfully the French toast was in the freezer- just thaw and reheat... otherwise I doubt I would have even cooked on the stove top.
Basically- all you need to do is make up your favorite French toast... let it cool, cut it into chunks, cut up some of your favorite in season fruits and alternate putting it all on a skewer.
Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
We purchased a giant package of bamboo skewers (needed some for a science project) last year... 100 ct. of 12 inch & 100 ct of 10 inch... for $2.50 total.


Another great take on the Breakfast Kabob-
use DONUT HOLES instead of the french toast!
Yes! No cooking involved at all.
Use an assortment of donut holes- plain, powdered and chocolate and add your favorite fruits.
Serve and enjoy!
