Weekly Menu Plan-- All plotted out


The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for June6-12th        

Notes:  Week 3 of 6 weeks of planned out menus… that’s right- I’ve got menu plans all the way thru to July 3rd. That makes me feel good. I’ve inventoried the fridge, pantry and freezers and made grocery lists for each week.  I’m trying to buy most of the groceries (except for some perishables)  a week ahead. This all allows me some great flexibility. I can switch out meals as needed (which has happened the last couple of weeks) and better shop sales for fresh fruits and meats.

Monday
Breakfast: Homemade oatmeal with fresh apricots & strawberries
Lunch:  cheesy bacon quesadillas with Ranch dip
Dinner:  Sour Cream Blueberry Pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit
Tuesday – Daddy Softball Nite
Breakfast:  Pancakes and sausage (last nite’s planned overs]
Lunch: Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Bologna Burgers, chips-n-dip
Wednesday – Bible Study
Breakfast: Homemade Yogurt with jam & granola, toast
Lunch:  Egg sandwiches, chunk cheese
Dinner:  Santa Fe Chicken Casserole, greens salad
Thursday
Breakfast: Yogurt smoothies, toast
Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Cream chip beef and mashed potatoes
{make a simple white sauce, add cut up chip beef (find it next to bologna & lunch meats at the store) after sauce is desired thickness, simmer for a few minutes and ladle over mashed potatoes-- which we make from scratch}
Friday  
Breakfast:  Homemade Yogurt with fresh fruit & granola, toast
Lunch:  Picnic Style: sandwich wraps, chips, chunk cheese, pickle spears
Dinner:  Simple Camping cooking:  hotdogs/mac-n-cheese {doesn't everything taste better outdoors sitting by a campfire?}
Saturday –Mr. Conductor’s 2nd Spiritual Birthday
Breakfast: Cake for Breakfast
Lunch: Leftover Smorgasbord
Dinner: Campfire cooking: pizza camp pies, fruit camp pies
Sunday
Breakfast: Coco Wheats w/dried cherries, toast
Lunch:  Simple Slow Cook Pork Chops, baked potatoes, greens salad, biscuits
Dinner: nachos (or cereal depending how late we get home!)
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Lemon Water, lemonade, ice tea, iced coffee (Mama & Papa)
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, homemade yogurt & jam/fresh fruit, hummus & pretzels, popsicles, chips & salsa
Desserts this week:
Ice cream sundaes, Smores, cake-for-breakfast
