Crockpot Recipe: Creamy Beef & Potatoes

What I'm bringing to the church potluck on Sunday....

Creamy Beef & Potatoes
(tweaked by yours truly from Gooseberry Patch’s Dinners on a Dime)
1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey), browned and drained
6-8 potatoes, thinly sliced
1 cup frozen cut green beans
½ onion, minced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can broccoli cheese soup
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
Place browned beef into slow cooker; add potatoes, beans and onion. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over top. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3 ½ to 4 hours.
My Creamy Beef & Potatoes is usually Creamy Ground Turkey and Potatoes... because it's cheaper and there's less fat... tastes good to us... I try to substitute ground turkey into casseroles where there's a lot of other flavors and the difference won't be noticed. I learned the hard way that you don't make meatloaf with it if you want it to taste like the stuff your husband's momma use to make...
