Menu Plan- Creative Leftovers

Oddly, it is not real cooks who insist that the finest

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan
for April 18-24    

Notes:  We have some leftovers to get creative with this week… We have about a pound of cooked macaroni (leftover from Greek Dinner) that needs using up and some yummy cooked pork as well as a great grouping of salad greens. Sunday’s leftover chicken becomes Monday’s open face chicken sandwiches… Some more leftovers will be added to Wednesday’s soup… hot dog buns turned into garlic bread... leftover pretzels made for church children's program become snacks.

Monday
Breakfast: homemade yogurt with jam/granola, toast
Lunch: Fried egg sandwiches, clementines
Dinner: Open face chicken sandwiches, green beans
(Gravy, shredded chicken, mashed potatoes—on bread)
Tuesday
Breakfast:   Yogurt smoothies, toast
Lunch: Bacon & cheese quesadillas w/ Ranch dip, salad
Dinner:  Crockpot Mac-n-cheese, sliced pork, greens salad
Wednesday – Nana Birthday
Breakfast: Oatmeal with peaches, toast
Lunch:  Take Nana out to lunch
Dinner:   Em’s Veggie Noodle Soup 
(soup my sister gave us- she made too much with some add-ins) & garlic bread
Thursday
Breakfast: homemade yogurt with jam/granola, toast
Lunch:  Diner Dinner (choice of leftovers)
Dinner:  Homemade pizza... everyone makes their own!
Friday  
Breakfast: Cake (we’re celebrating Sass’s spiritual birthday)
Lunch:  Diner Dinner
Dinner:  Chicken and Noodles, bread, pickles
Saturday 
Breakfast: Daddy cook: eggs, bacon & toast
Lunch: Leftover Smorgasbord
Dinner: Nachos
Sunday - Easter
Breakfast: @ church—bringing: muffins, fresh fruit
Easter Dinner:  bringing—spoonbread, fancy deviled eggs, triple fudge brownies
Supper: Encore Presentations
Beverages for the week:
Milk, Water, lemonade
Snacks for the week:
Cookies, homemade yogurt and jam, hard boiled eggs, pretzels, clementines
Desserts this week:
Ice cream sundaes, root beer floats, rainbow sherbet, Strawberry cake with fudge frosting
