Two Ingredient Dessert

We consider monkey bread to be a dessert around here. We've even been known to make it for a very indulgent breakfast treat. A few years ago, I found what is now my go-to recipe for monkey bread, so much so that we don't make it any other way here on the homestead. I love how absolutely simple this recipe is too- you only need two ingredients!

Iced Monkey Bread
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 10-cup bundt pan with cooking spray. Place brown sugar in a small mixing bowl. Open cans of rolls and set icing aside. Tear rolls into bite size pieces and dip in brown sugar. Place sugar coated roll pieces in bundt pan pressing down lightly as you go. Bake 35 minutes until almost doubled in size and lightly browned.
Cool pan on wire rack for ten minutes then invert onto serving plate. Let bread cool five more minutes. Clip corner of icing bags and swirl icing onto bread. Serve warm, pulling off pieces.
Make sure you've got sturdy napkins and large glasses of milk too!
Note: Aldi's cinnamon rolls are $1.49 each-- multiply that by 2 and figure in the brown sugar and you just made a beautiful, yummy dessert for under $4.00.
