Tractors, bread, books and love notes- So grateful....

Multitude Monday at Ann’s today…. Sharing our Endless Gratitude…. And this is mine….
146- 180
Watching old John Wayne movies as a family
Making fairy houses out of found nature objects with the kiddos
Letting go of my need to know why
Old curving staircases…. Banisters with paint worn down smooth and shiny from the years and years and years of hands running over it
Listening to Mr. Steady read from the Bible
A backyard full of walnuts and a boy willing to fill bucket after bucket with them
Tall proud Corn shucks and pumpkins
Old tractors
The creak in the third stair step from the top
A beautifully set table- set by my oldest daughter
Eating by candlelight
A pristine green and yellow box of Crayola Crayons
The love of a good man
The first bite of a caramel apple
Amazing Grace- a cappella
Warm mittens
Hot cocoa with whip cream and chocolate sprinkles on top
A full button jar
Listening to my children pray out loud
Picking Sea glass
Filling a glass jar with sea glass to remember a vacation
The Power of Place
Denim patches for blue jeans
Farm fresh eggs
Oodles of beautiful colored ribbons
Glass Marbles
Handwritten love notes from my children
Hope in a hopeless world
Dog-ear books
Homemade bread sliced fresh and warm with real butter slathered on it.
Notes stuffed all over in my Bible
My Hoosier cabinet passed down to me from my Mama
Antiques that are meant to be used and loved and dented and scraped

  1. Amy,
What a great list! Hot chocolate with whip cream and sprinkles...yummy! And, watching John Wayne...sounds like a recipe for a great time.
