Another Yummy Recipe that's easy-peasy

Pizza Burgers- sloppy style

1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 jar pizza sauce
1 cup diced ham
20 pepperoni slices, diced
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Sliced and diced vegetables of your choosing

After you’ve browned and drained the meat, place it in a sauce pot with warmed jar of pizza sauce. Add diced ham and pepperoni and your choice of chopped veggies [I tossed in some onion, green pepper and finely diced mushrooms—that’s so the kids can’t find ‘em]. Stir; while stirring add shredded cheese half cup at a time, stir between additions, letting melt some before adding next half cupful. Continue to cook on med-high burner until cheese has melted. Spoon pizza mixture onto buns and serve!

I totally love this recipe as it stretches one pound of meat—I think we got at least 8 burgers of out it and I know Mr. Steady and Ms. Books loaded down their burgers.
I like the added zip of cheddar cheese but you can use mozzarella to stick with regular pizza-ness.
Pretty proud of myself for thinking up something so simple and delicious. So was Mr. Conductor.
"You made this up, Momma? All by yourself? Where'd you get the idea?"
Me: "It just came to me."
Him: "Wish food cookering ideas would come to me like that. You're always wanting me to eat something different for breakfast that I don't want to eat."
