Weekly Menu Plan #5

Every meal should be a small celebration. If you acknowledge so joyous a fact of life, the pride you take in your efforts in the kitchen won’t be confined to company occasions.

The Yellow Farmhouse Weekly Menu Plan for March 29- April 4th

Salad greens were on special. I purchased red leaf, romaine and butter. We’ll add dried cranberries, green onion, diced tomato, and feta cheese to our salads this week.
Monday
B: Yogurt Parfaits, toast
L: chicken sandwiches, chips, cheese cubes
D: Peppy Macaroni, greens salad
Dessert: root beer floats
Tuesday
B: Choice: Cereal or yogurt
L: Homeschool group potluck- bring: sliced fruit
D: Chicken crescent squares, Amy’s broiled tomatoes, steamed veggies
Dessert: strawberry shortcake
Wednesday
B: Oatmeal w/ dried cherries, toast
L: out with my sister
D: Grilled steak, baked potatoes, green salad
Dessert: none
Thursday
B: Eggs in a basket, sliced apples
L: grab-n-go sandwiches
D: Aunt Florence’s Casserole, greens salad
Dessert: iced monkey bread
Friday
B: Raspberry cream cheese coffee cake, sliced fruit
L: Diner Dinner
D: Pizza
Dessert: none
Saturday
B: Daddy Cook (eggs, bacon, toast etc)
L: Leftover Smorgasbord
D: Leftover Smorgasbord
Sunday –Easter
B: Brunch @ church bring: muffins
L: Dinner with my parents- bring: spoonbread, triple fudge brownies, berry
cream pie, homemade bread
D: lunch leftovers
Beverages for the week:
Milk (2.5 gal), Water, lemonade
Snacks for the week:
Oreos, fruit, cheese chunks, crackers, homemade bread & jam
